STATEMENT OF NEEDS/SCOPE OF WORK. A. To support the transformation and organizational change initiatives, the university seeks experienced firm(s) to provide a broad range of strategic consulting services. These services include, but are not limited to, organizational design and culture, business process evaluation and design (including but not limited to human resources, financial affairs, administrative operations, and academic enterprise management), change management, business analytics, process improvement, project development and management, strategic advisory services, and executive coaching. B. Strategic consulting service projects may be short or long term in nature, to be determined by the scope of work and project owner. C. It is desirable, but not required, that the strategic consulting service vendor(s) have experience in higher education and/or the public sector. D. Any services under the resulting contract shall be documented in a Statement of Work established between the Requestor and the Vendor when services are required. E. The awarded firm(s) may be required to attend meetings on campus or in other Virginia Tech locations throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. F. If travel is required by the awarded firm(s), any requests for reimbursement shall be at the established GSA Travel rates for the appropriate location.
