Common use of Statement of Nondiscrimination Clause in Contracts

Statement of Nondiscrimination. CONTRACTOR agrees that, during the performance of this Agreement, it shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because ofrace, color, religion, religious creed (including religious dress and religious grooming), national origin, ancestry, citizenship, age, physical or mental disability, legally-protected medical condition or information (including genetic information), family care or medical leave status, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, transgender status, sex stereotype, pregnancy, perceived pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, or related medical conditions, military caregiver status, military status, veteran status, marital status, domestic partner status, sexual orientation, status as a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking, enrollment in a public assistance program, or any other basis protected by federal, state, or local laws. CONTRACTOR agrees that it will fully comply with any and all applicable federal, state, and local equal employment opportunity statues, ordinances, and regulations, including, but not limited to those relating to civil rights, disabilities, discrimination and equal pay. Nothing in this section shall require CONTRACTOR to comply with or become liable under any law, ordinance, regulation, or rule that does not otherwise apply to CONTRACTOR.
