Common use of STATUTORY INVALIDITY Clause in Contracts

STATUTORY INVALIDITY. The CLIENT and the SERVICE PROVIDER expressly agree that should any limitation or provision contained in this Contract be held to be invalid under any particular statute or law, or any rule, regulation or bye-law having the force of law, it shall to that extent be deemed to be omitted but, if either the CLIENT or the SERVICE PROVIDER thereby becomes liable for loss or damage which would have otherwise been excluded, such liability shall be subject to the other limitations and provisions set out herein. ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS The SERVICE PROVIDER shall comply in all material respects with all applicable environmental laws and regulations in force from time to time in relation to the Services. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the SERVICE PROVIDER shall promptly provide all such information regarding the environmental impact of the Services as may reasonably be requested by the CLIENT. The SERVICE PROVIDER shall meet all reasonable requests by the CLIENT for information evidencing compliance with the provisions of this Clause 23 by the SERVICE PROVIDER.
