Statutory Notice. In accordance with Section 2872 of the California Labor Code, Executive is hereby notified that the provisions of this Section 6 requiring assignment of certain Inventions to Employer do not, in any event, apply to any invention which qualifies under the provisions of Section 2870 of such Code. Statutory Notice. In accordance with Executive hereby acknowledges that he understands that this Section 6 does not apply to the invention that qualifies fully under Section 2870 of the California Labor Code. That Code Section reads in relevant part:
(1) to the business of the employer or (2) to the employer's actual or demonstrably anticipated research or development, or (b) which does not result from any work performed by the employee for the employer.
