The union representative and/or employee shall consult with the building principal or immediate supervisor to determine the proper party with whom a potential grievance should be discussed. The building principal or immediate supervisor shall so inform the union representatives and/or employee. This contact shall validate the grievance if made within five (5) working days of the occurrence.
