Common use of Stipends Clause in Contracts

Stipends. In addition to their regular salaries, academic staff members who hold an administrative appointment shall receive a stipend as provided for in Appendix A. Such stipends are taxable income and shall be included as income when calculating member benefits that are based on income. Where no stipend is stipulated, the University shall consult with the Faculty Association to determine an appropriate compensation.
