Common use of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Clause in Contracts

Storm Water Pollution Prevention. Contractor shall comply with the City’s Storm Water Management and Discharge Control Ordinance provisions codified in Division 3 of Chapter 4 of the SDMC, as may be amended, and any and all applicable Best Management Practice guidelines and pollution elimination requirements in performing or delivering services at City owned, leased, or managed property, or in performance of services and activities on behalf of the City regardless of location. Contractor shall comply with the City’s Jurisdictional Urban Runoff Management Plan encompassing Citywide programs and activities designed to prevent and reduce storm water pollution within City boundaries as adopted by the City Council on January 22, 2008, via Resolution No. 303351, as may be amended. Contractor shall comply with each City facility or work site’s Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, as applicable, and institute all controls needed while completing the services to minimize any negative impact to the storm water collection system and environment.
