Stormwater Pollution Control. Prior to commencing the Work, if applicable, the Contractor shall obtain a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit from Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) for construction activities. The Contractor shall perform the Work directed in the Stormwater Permit so as to not discharge storm water runoff containing pollutants or sediment into the waters of the United States (including municipal separate storm sewer systems [MS4s]) in violation of federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.
