By signing this Agreement, Contractor confirms that Contractor has read and understood that the City urges companies doing business in Northern Ireland to resolve employment inequities and to abide by the XxxXxxxx Principles, and urges San Francisco companies to do business with corporations that abide by the XxxXxxxx Principles.
Performance of Government Functions Nothing contained in this contract shall be deemed or construed so as to in any way estop, limit, or impair the City from exercising or performing any regulatory, policing, legislative, governmental, or other powers or functions.
Local Business Enterprise and Non-Discrimination in Contracting Ordinance Contractor shall comply with all applicable provisions of Chapter 14B (“LBE Ordinance”). Contractor is subject to the enforcement and penalty provisions in Chapter 14B. Indigenous Peoples 8. The Borrower shall ensure, or cause the Project Executing Agency and Project Implementing Agency to ensure, that the Project does not have any indigenous peoples impacts, within the meaning of the SPS. In the event that the Project or any Subproject does have any such impact, the Borrower shall take, or cause the Project Executing Agency or Project Implementing Agency to take, all steps required to ensure that the Project or Subproject complies with the applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower and with the SPS.
Federal Government End Use Provisions We provide the Services, including related software and technology, for ultimate federal government end use solely in accordance with the following: Government technical data and software rights related to the Services include only those rights customarily provided to the public as defined in this Agreement. This customary commercial license is provided in accordance with FAR 12.211 (Technical Data) and FAR 12.212 (Software) and, for Department of Defense transactions, DFAR 252.227-7015 (Technical Data – Commercial Items) and DFAR 227.7202-3 (Rights in Commercial Computer Software or Computer Software Documentation). If a government agency has a need for rights not granted under these terms, it must negotiate with Us to determine if there are acceptable terms for granting those rights, and a mutually acceptable written addendum specifically granting those rights must be included in any applicable agreement.
US Federal Government Use If software is licensed to Customer for use in the performance of a US Government prime contract or subcontract, Customer agrees that consistent with FAR 12.211 and 12.212, commercial computer software, documentation and technical data for commercial items are licensed under HP’s standard commercial license.
