Student Misuse. The parties agree that provided a teacher has not been grossly negligent, or responsible for the disclosure of a teacher’s password, the bargaining unit member shall not be disciplined and will be released from liability for inappropriate acts committed by a student with regard to the internet / intranet, including, but not limited to, information retrieved from the internet by a student in violation of this Article or any federal, state, or local law; a student’s inappropriate use of electronic mail communication in violation of this Article or any federal, state, or local law; a student’s design of a web site in violation of this Article or any federal, state, or local law.
