SUB-CONTRACTOR CLAUSE. 6.01 Except as provided for hereafter, the Employers agree to contract/ subcontract and/or sublet all work covered by this Appendix to companies which are bound to the terms and provisions of this Collective Agreement and such work will be performed under the terms and provisions of this Collective Agreement by such contractors. 6.02 The Employer agrees to subcontract utility construction work (as described by the Collective Agreement between the Utility Contractors’ Association of Ontario and Local 183 Labourers’ Union) in connection with the construction of any structure or bridge, only to contractors who are party to or bound by a Collective Agreement with or binding upon the Union and who shall perform such work under such Collective Agreement.
