Common use of Subcontractor Safety Clause in Contracts

Subcontractor Safety. In addition to the policies identified above, Contractor shall review with all subcontractors the methods, materials, tools, and equipment to be used to verify their compliance with all safety standards and laws and Contractor shall comply with them, to ensure safe, hazard-free conditions for all persons visiting or working on the entire Project Site and District’s adjoining facilities. Contractor shall implement and maintain a safety program that is specifically adapted for the Project and complies with all applicable requirements of Oregon OSHA. Contractor shall furnish a copy of the safety program to District before commencing Work.
