Subject Area Curriculum Committees. Subject area curriculum committees will be appointed by the Superintendent or designee as prescribed in the Procedural Guidelines for Curriculum Development adopted in Phase I of the Frameworks curriculum process and subsequently approved by the Board of Education. 1. Such committees will be responsible for developing the curriculum framework for their respective areas, as well as for monitoring the curriculum and recommending curriculum proposals in those areas, as outlined in the Procedural Guidelines. 2. Such committees will be K-12 in scope, and will include at least one administrator plus faculty representatives from different buildings and levels as also outlined in the Procedural Guidelines. 3. The faculty members on such committees shall be provided release time as needed.
