Half-Day Absences. Teachers who are out for any reason on a day that is scheduled as a half-day for students will be charged a full day of absence. Staff will be held responsible to enter the full day absence in the designated employee management system (Skyward). If a sub is needed, the staff member will also be required to enter the appropriate time needed for a substitute (i.e. for a half student day, employee will enter for a half-day sub needed.)
Half-Day Absences. A unit member who is absent for one-half (1/2) day or less shall have deducted one-half day (1/2) from the accumulated leave. If the absence exceeds one-half (1/2) day, a full day shall be deducted.
