General Training. 417. The City will use its best efforts to provide Local 21 represented employees with up to forty (40) hours of paid time off for job-related training and/or professional development, which shall include one day of professional development of an employee’s choice, not to be unreasonably denied. Such time may include departmental-sponsored training and/or professional development; DHR sponsored training and/or professional development; and/or outside training and/or professional development approved by appointing officer or designee. The foregoing includes but is not limited to mandatory continuing education and/or training requirements.
General Training. If training other than that referred to in Article 44 is followed on the instructions of the employer or on the grounds of a statutory obligation attached to the job, the employee shall be reimbursed for the course costs, examination fees and travelling expenses (in accordance with the maximum net kilometre allowance for tax purposes applicable in that year). In addition, the employer shall reimburse the course time taken during the day on weekdays. These hours do not count towards the determination of overtime.
General Training. A joint training committee will be established consisting of eight (8) members, four (4) to be appointed by the Local Union from among the employees of the Company, one (1) of whom shall be from the Mining and Milling Section, one (1) from the Smelting and Refining Section and one (1) from either the Maintenance or Electrical Department, and four (4) to be appointed by the Company from among Management Representatives, one
General Training. In addition to the opportunities for individual training outlined above, curriculum changes and other initiatives undertaken by the district often require that in service training activities be provided on a grade, building, elementary, secondary, or district level.
1. The Oxford Curriculum Council will develop procedures to survey and identify training needs of the District on an ongoing basis. The Council will consider all pertinent evidence of district needs in developing proposed plans and agendas for in service programs. Such plans and agendas will be submitted to the Superintendent or designee for approval and implementation as soon as possible.
2. The Oxford Curriculum Council will work closely with various representative faculty groups in planning the above activities. In particular, it will try to assure that in service training activities are provided on an equitable basis among the buildings which have adopted professional development or similar modified schedules, or which still lack the training opportunities afforded by such alternate arrangements.
3. On occasion, the Oxford Curriculum Council may conclude that it is necessary or desirable to offer training opportunities during school recesses or at other times outside the regular work year, and may recommend same to the Superintendent or designee. Upon approval of the Superintendent or designee, teachers may be paid a stipend for their participation in such training as provided in Schedule D of Appendix C.
General Training. Within 90 days after the Effective Date, Xxxxxxxx shall provide at least two hours of General Training to each Covered Person. This training, at a minimum, shall explain Xxxxxxxx’x:
a. CIA requirements; and
b. Compliance Program, including the Code of Conduct. New Covered Persons shall receive the General Training described above within 30 days after becoming a Covered Person or within 90 days after the Effective Date, whichever is later. After receiving the initial General Training described above, each Covered Person shall receive at least one hour of General Training in each subsequent Reporting Period.
General Training. Within 120 days after the Effective Date, CHSI shall provide at least one hour of General Training to each Covered Person. This training, at a minimum, shall explain CHSI’s:
a. CIA requirements; and
b. Compliance Program, including the Code of Conduct. New Covered Persons shall receive the General Training described above within 30 days after becoming a Covered Person or within 120 days after the Effective Date, whichever is later. After receiving the initial General Training described above, each Covered Person shall receive at least one hour of General Training in each subsequent Reporting Period.
General Training. To the extent not already accomplished, within 120 days after the Effective Date, GSK shall provide at least one hour of General Training to each Covered Person. This training, at a minimum, shall explain GSK’s:
a. CIA requirements; and
b. GSK’s Compliance Program (including the Code of Conduct and the Policies and Procedures as they pertain to general compliance issues). New Covered Persons shall receive the General Training described above within 30 days after becoming a Covered Person or within 120 days after the Effective Date, whichever is later. After receiving the initial General Training described above, each Covered Person shall receive at least one hour of General Training in each subsequent Reporting Period. General Training. All Student Workers shall be given annually at least one (1) hour of paid general training at the applicable base wage, as set forth in Section 6.1, before they begin regular employment. This general training will include instructions on time entry and the Student Worker Handbook. A Student Worker shall not receive this general training until the Student Worker’s onboarding paperwork has been completed.
General Training. Franchisor will provide ongoing general training on an annual basis to introduce new products, services and equipment, to review sales and marketing practices and to discuss other topics that are relevant to the Services provided by Franchisee. Ongoing general training classes will be held on a regional, national or international basis, as determined by the Franchisor and will typically be two (2) or three (3) calendar day sessions. If Franchisor holds ongoing general training at The Car Wash Guys National Convention, Franchisee or the Location Manager is required to attend such training. Attendance requirements at other ongoing general training sessions will be determined by the content of the class.
General Training. Within 120 days after the Effective Date, Extendicare shall provide at least two hours of General Training to each Covered Person. This training, at a minimum, shall explain Extendicare’s:
a. CIA requirements; and
b. Compliance Program (including the Code of Conduct and the Policies and Procedures as they pertain to general compliance issues). New Covered Persons shall receive the General Training described above within 30 days after becoming a Covered Person or within 120 days after the Effective Date, whichever is later. After receiving the initial General Training described above, each Covered Person shall receive at least one hour of General Training in each subsequent Reporting Period. For purposes of the General Training requirements, if Extendicare provided training on its Compliance Program that satisfies the requirements set forth in Section III.C.1 above, to Covered Persons within 90 days prior to the Effective Date, then OIG will credit that training for purposes of satisfying the applicable part of Extendicare’s General Training obligations for the first Reporting Period of the CIA.
