Common use of Sublet and Assignment Clause in Contracts

Sublet and Assignment. Tenant may not sublet Premises in whole or in part or assign this Lease without the prior written consent of Landlord. This Lease shall create the relationship of Landlord and Tenant between the parties hereto. While Tenant may use and enjoy the Premises to the fullest extent permitted in this Lease, no estate or permanent legal interest in the Premises is being transferred or conveyed by Landlord to Tenant herein. Landlord shall have the right to assign this Lease to a subsequent owner of the Premises.
