Common use of Submission of Design Documents Clause in Contracts

Submission of Design Documents. The Engineer shall submit design documents to the Owner at intervals appropriate to the design process and Project schedule for purposes of evaluation. With regard to design, materials or systems, the Engineer shall be entitled to rely on approvals received in writing from the Owner in the further development of the design. Such submittals shall be prepared in the following intervals of the overall hours of design services incurred and invoiced: 1.11.1.5.1. 10% ‐ Schematic Design phase;
