Common use of Subsequent Law Clause in Contracts

Subsequent Law. The terms and conditions of this Agreement shall be subject to any and all applicable laws, rules, regulations or guidelines that subsequently may be prescribed by any federal, state or local governmental authority. To the extent required by any such subsequently prescribed law, rule, regulation or guideline, the parties agree to modify, in writing, the affected term(s) and condition(s) of this Agreement to bring them into compliance with such law, rule, regulation or guideline. Should any term of this Agreement be determined by a court or other entity with competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, all other terms of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
