Common use of Subsequent Law Clause in Contracts

Subsequent Law. The terms and conditions of this Agreement shall be subject to any and all applicable laws, rules, or regulations that subsequently may be prescribed by any federal, state or local governmental authority. To the extent required by any such subsequently prescribed law, rule, or regulation, the Parties agree to modify, in writing, the affected term(s) and condition(s) of this Agreement to bring them into compliance with such law, rule, or regulation. Further, to the extent such law, rule, or regulation allows one or both Parties the choice to operate, voluntarily, in a manner contrary to the current term(s) and condition(s) of this Agreement, the Parties agree to modify, in writing, the affected term(s) and condition(s), should one or both Parties choose to avail themselves of such law, rule, or regulation. The Dispute Resolution provisions of Article III, Section 18 shall also govern any disputes arising out of or relating to such modifications.
