Subsequent Service. Prior to granting such leave, administrators shall enter into a written agreement with the BSC that upon termination of such leave he/she will return to service in the Public Schools of Brookline for a period equal to twice the length of such leave and that, in default of completing such service, he/she will refund to the Town of Brookline an amount equal to such proportion of salary received by him/her while on leave as the amount of service agreed to be rendered, unless such administrator is incapacitated, has been discharged or has been released for good and sufficient reasons by the BSC from this obligation.
Subsequent Service. At the end of any contract period, the Customer may elect to receive, and EONI may agree to continue to supply, Service under the same conditions specified herein on a month-to- month basis. Pricing for such subsequent service will be EONIs then current pricing and pricing is subject to change or modification at any time.
Subsequent Service. A Faculty Member, as a condition of being granted a sabbatical leave, shall agree in writing to render a portion of service equal to twice the period of the leave; this service to be served continuously and immediately upon completion of the sabbatical leave. If the sabbatical leave is a split sabbatical, the Faculty Member will be required to render service to the District each semester between the end of the first portion of the sabbatical leave and the beginning of the second portion.
Subsequent Service. Prior to granting such leave, teachers shall enter into a written agreement with the Superintendent that upon termination of such leave he/she will return to service in the Public Schools of Medfield for a period equal to twice the length of such leave, and that in default of completing such service, he/she will refund to the Town of Medfield an amount equal to such proportion of salary received by him/her while on leave as the amount of service not actually rendered as agreed bears to the whole amount of service agreed to be rendered, unless such teacher is incapacitated, has been discharged, or has been released for good and sufficient reasons by the Committee from this obligation.
Subsequent Service. 17.8.1 As a condition to a sabbatical leave, the Employee shall enter into a contract to continue in the service of the Board for a period of at least two years after the expiration of the leave. The Employee may be released from this obligation at the discretion of the Board.
17.8.2 If an Employee fails to continue in service after a sabbatical leave, the Employee shall repay the Board a sum of money bearing the same ratio to the amount of salary received while on sabbatical leave that the unperformed part of the two subsequent years of service bears to the full two years, unless the Employee is incapacitated or has been discharged or has been released from this obligation by the Board.
Subsequent Service. 1. As a condition to being granted leave, the employee shall enter into a contract upon terms to be mutually agreed upon to continue in the service of the South Plainfield Board of Education for a period of not less than three (3) years after the expiration of the leave of absence.
2. If an employee fails to continue in service after such leave of absence, such employee shall repay to the Board of Education of the Borough of South Plainfield, in the County of Middlesex, a sum of money bearing the same ratio to the amount of salary received while on leave of absence that the unperformed part of three (3) subsequent years of service bears to the full three (3) years, unless such employee is incapacitated, has been discharged, or has been released for good and sufficient reasons by the Board of Education from this obligation. Promissory note is required. An agreement and note or notes encompassing the provisions herein shall be signed by the member of the professional staff in advance of taking such sabbatical leave.
Subsequent Service. 1. An Administrator to whom a Sabbatical Leave is granted shall hereby be deemed to have entered into a contract to continue in the service of the Board for a period of not less than two (2) years after the expiration of the Sabbatical Leave.
2. If an Administrator fails to so continue in service after a Sabbatical Leave, such Administrator shall repay to the Board a sum of money which bears the same ratio to the amount of salary received while on Sabbatical Leave as the unperformed part of the two (2) subsequent years of service bears to the full two (2) years, unless such Administrator is incapacitated, has been discharged, or has been released by the Board from this obligation for good and sufficient reasons approved by the Board.

Subsequent Service. 1. A Teacher to whom a Sabbatical Leave is granted shall hereby be deemed to have entered into a contract to continue in the service of the Board for a period of not less than two (2) years after the expiration of the Sabbatical Leave.
2. If a Teacher fails to so continue in service after a Sabbatical Leave, such Teacher shall repay to the Board a sum of money which bears the same ratio to the amount of salary received while on Sabbatical Leave as the unperformed part of the two
Subsequent Service a. Before being granted leave, the teacher shall certify under a contract agreed upon by the Board and the applicant to continue service in the system for a period of not less than two (2) academic years after the expiration of the sabbatical.
b. If the teacher fails to continue service after a sabbatical leave, the teacher will repay to the Board the entire amount paid to him for the leave or a pro-rated amount based on the percentage of time the teacher worked after the leave. Example: Teacher’s regular salary $45,000 Compensation during sabbatical $22,500 Healthcare Benefits $ 7,500 Tuition Subsidy $ 1,000 Teacher never comes back-owes Board $31,000 Teacher works a year and then resigns-owes $15,500 For the purpose of calculating the amount paid to a teacher during the leave, there shall be included the cost of maintaining health benefits for the teacher during the leave (determined as if the teacher had resigned at the commencement of the leave and exercised his rights to continued health benefits under the COBRA Act) and the amount of course subsidies paid by the Board in respect of courses taken during the leave.
c. If the recipient of a sabbatical leave is incapacitated or discharged during the two (2) years subsequent to the leave, reimbursement shall not be required. Also, he may be released from his reimbursement obligation for extraordinary reasons approved by the Board.
