Common use of Substitute in a Higher Classification Clause in Contracts

Substitute in a Higher Classification. When an employee is substituting in a position at a higher pay classification, beginning with the sixth consecutive day, he/she shall receive the difference in pay between his/her pay and that of the same step in the higher classification. This provision excludes bus driving.
