Common use of Successors, Assigns, and Beneficiaries Clause in Contracts

Successors, Assigns, and Beneficiaries. 11.1 Owner and Engineer are hereby bound, as are their respective successors, assigns, employees, and representatives to the other party to this Agreement with respect to all covenants, terms, promises, and obligations contained herein. 11.2 Neither the Owner nor Engineer may assign, sublet, or transfer any rights under or interest in (including, but without limitation, monies that are due or may become due) this Agreement without the written consent of the other, except to the extent that any assignment, subletting, or transfer is required by law.
