Common use of Summer Inservice Institute Clause in Contracts

Summer Inservice Institute. The following provisions apply to the Summer In-service Institute as funded by the Florida State Legislature: 1. Participation by teachers shall be voluntary. 2. Those teachers who teach Summer School are also eligible to participate in the Summer In-service Institute. 3. Those teachers who complete a minimum of 30 hours of instruction for computer and Alternative Education; or 60 hours for all other courses will be paid at a rate of $10 per hour for each hour of satisfactory attendance. Make-up work will be provided for absences due to unavoidable circumstances.
