Summer Session Contracts. 1. Provided there is no time conflict, full-time employees shall have priority consideration in appointments to teach regular summer session courses within their individual competency, except in unusual circumstances. 2. Assignments to full-time employees to teach summer session courses shall be voluntary and consistent with normal College/University procedures. Such summer session assignments shall be distributed on an equitable basis. 3. Colleges/Universities will send out written summer session assignment agreements to full-time faculty by April 1, which must be returned by April 15 unless other dates are established by local negotiations.
