Summer Session Salaries for Annually Contracted Faculty. a. For an annually contracted faculty member who receives a summer session assignment in accordance with Article 6.1.k., assignments shall be compensated at 78% of the employee's monthly salary for the immediately preceding academic year for 2013, 2014, and 2015 and at 80% of the employee’s monthly salary for the immediately preceding academic year for 2016 provided that the compensation shall not be less than the overload rate. An employee shall receive one-third of one month's salary for each assigned credit unit up to six credit units. b. For an annually contracted faculty member who receives a summer session assignment in accordance with Article 6.1.k., assignments of six or fewer credit units shall be compensated as described in Article 25.8.a., and assigned credit units in excess of six credit units shall be compensated as overload in accordance with Article 25.12.
