Common use of Supervision of Property Clause in Contracts

Supervision of Property. If an employee resides in a building which is owned or leased by Australia Post, and the employee has an incidental obligation of supervision or control over personnel or property, Australia Post has the right to direct that rent be charged and deducted from the employee’s salary. The amount of rent charged must be fair and reasonable, not exceeding 10 per cent of the lowest total Agreement rate for the employee’s classification.
