Supervisor Differential Clause Samples
The Supervisor Differential clause establishes additional compensation or benefits for employees who perform supervisory duties beyond their regular responsibilities. Typically, this clause outlines the criteria for eligibility, the amount or percentage of the differential pay, and the circumstances under which it is applied, such as when an employee temporarily assumes a supervisory role. Its core practical function is to fairly compensate employees for the added responsibilities and to incentivize staff to take on supervisory tasks when needed, thereby ensuring operational flexibility and equity in the workplace.
