Supplemental Contract Committee. A committee composed of administrators appointed by the Superintendent or his designee, and teachers, selected by the Association, shall meet during the final year of the contract for the purpose of studying and making written recommendations to the Board and Association negotiation teams relative to all areas of the supplemental contract. The committee shall meet by the last day of October and its report shall be completed by May 1 of that school year. Committee recommendations shall not be binding. (Refer to Article XXI)
Supplemental Contract Committee. ‌ The index percentage in Appendix C shall be reviewed, prior to commencement of negotiations. The Supplemental Contract Committee shall be composed of three (3) representatives designated by the RACT President and three (3) representatives designated by the Superintendent. The Committee shall recommend any changes necessary to maintain equity and adequate compensation in Appendix C. The Committee’s recommendations shall be made to both negotiating teams prior to negotiations, when possible. If the position is not included in Appendix C, and if there is no majority recommendation by the Supplemental Contract Committee, the Superintendent shall make such recommendation to the Board as he/she deems proper.

Members of the committee who attend a minimum of five (5) meetings during the year and who have notified the committee of any meeting they cannot attend shall receive one day of compensatory time to be taken as a release day in ½ day increments which can be taken at the members’ discretion.
