Supplemental Employment Benefits on Pregnancy Leave. (i) When a pregnant employee takes a maternity leave to which the employee is entitled pursuant to the Employment Standards Act, the Board shall pay the employee 95% of their current salary for the first and second weeks of their leave. (ii) Upon ratification, a top up to 95% of current salary for the third second through twelfth weeks of the employee’s leave will be paid. (iii) Upon presentation of an EI benefit statement, the employee will be paid according to established pay cutoffs and schedules.
