Public Duties. Paid leave of absence will be granted for employees undertaking jury service or serving on public bodies or undertaking public duties. Where an allowance is claimable for loss of earnings the employee should claim and pay the allowance to the employing authority.
Public Duties. 7.11.1 An employer will grant a leave of absence without pay to an employee to engage in election campaign activities in a municipal, provincial or federal election to a maximum of ninety (90) days. Such leaves will not be unreasonably denied.
7.11.2 An employer will grant a leave of absence without pay to an employee:
(a) to seek election in a municipal, provincial or federal election to a maximum of ninety (90) days.
(b) Where elected to public office, for up to two (2) consecutive terms.

(d) The regular faculty member will pay the Employer’s share of fringe benefit premiums.

(a) for employees to seek election in a municipal, first nation, provincial, or federal election for a maximum period of 90 days;
(b) for employees elected to a public office for a maximum period of five years;

Public Duties. 47.8.1 OC shall not apply restrictions to employees who wish to engage in political activities on their own time as campaign workers. OC may grant a leave of absence without pay to an employee to engage in election campaign activities in a municipal, provincial or federal election to a maximum of ninety days. Such leaves shall not be unreasonably denied.
47.8.2 OC shall grant a leave of absence without pay to an employee to seek election in a municipal, provincial or federal election to a maximum of ninety days.
47.8.3 OC shall grant a leave of absence without pay to an employee for up to two (2) consecutive terms of office when elected to public office.
Public Duties. 21.05.1 The University may grant a leave of absence without pay to a Regular Faculty Member to engage in election campaign activities in a municipal, provincial or federal election to a maximum of ninety (90) days. Such requests shall be made with sufficient notice to enable the University to hire a suitable replacement.

(c) The Parties agree that Article 13.14 Public Duties may be applied to duties that include non-elected Aboriginal governance.
