Support Person Clause Samples

The Support Person clause defines the right of a party to have another individual present during meetings, discussions, or proceedings related to the agreement. Typically, this clause allows a party to bring a colleague, advisor, or advocate to provide assistance, emotional support, or guidance, especially in sensitive or complex situations. Its core practical function is to ensure that parties feel supported and are able to participate fully and confidently, thereby promoting fairness and reducing the risk of misunderstandings or undue pressure.
