Common use of Supporting Insurance Clause in Contracts

Supporting Insurance. In the event this Agreement is subject to the indemnity limitations of any State anti-indemnity statute (including, but not by way of limitation, Chapter 127 of the Texas Civil Practices and Remedies Code or any successor statute), and so long as such limitations are in force, each Party covenants and agrees to support its respective mutual indemnity obligations contained in Sections 8.1 and 8.2 above by carrying insurance (or qualified self-insurance) in equal amounts of the types and in the minimum amounts as specified in the insurance requirements hereunder.
