Common use of Surety Information Clause in Contracts

Surety Information. The Proposal shall include the following information regarding the Surety for the bonds to be provided in accordance with Section 8 of the Development Agreement and Section 7 of the CMA: (a) Name of bonding company (must be rated in the top two categories by two nationally recognized rating agencies or at least A minus (A-) or better and Class VIII or better by A.M. Best and Company) and the name and address of the agent. (b) Whether or not the listed bonding company defaulted on any obligation within the past ten years, and the details in the event of such default.
