Common use of Surfaces and Walls Clause in Contracts

Surfaces and Walls. Tenant will not lay or otherwise affix linoleum, tile, carpet or any other floor covering to the floor of the Premises in any manner except as approved in writing by Landlord. Tenant will be liable for the cost of repair of any damage resulting from the violation of this rule or the removal of any floor covering by Tenant or its contractors, employees or invitees. Tenant shall not xxxx, drive nails or screws, or drill into the partitions, woodwork or drywall or in any way deface any part of the Premises, except that Tenant may hang typical art work in the Premises in a manner that will not damage any portion of the Premises. In addition, Tenant may secure office furniture and mount office supplies in the Premises by attachment to the interior walls, on the condition that upon expiration or termination of this Lease and following the removal of any such office furniture and office supplies, Tenant must repair all damage resulting from the attachment of such office furniture and office supplies.
