Common use of Survival and Counterparts Clause in Contracts

Survival and Counterparts. The provisions of Section 1 (Definitions), Section 5 (Confidentiality), Section 6 (Intellectual Property), Section 7 (Covenants) and Section 8 (General Provisions) of this Agreement shall survive the termination of this Agreement. This Agreement may be executed in counterparts, with the same effect as if both parties had signed the same document. All such counterparts shall be deemed an original, shall be construed together and shall constitute one and the same instrument.
