Common use of Suspension by the Administrator Clause in Contracts

Suspension by the Administrator. If any of the following events of suspension shall have occurred and be continuing, the Administrator may, by notice to the Recipient, suspend in whole or in part the right of the Recipient to make withdrawals from the Grant Account: (a) The Recipient shall have failed to perform any obligation under this Agreement. (b) As a result of events which have occurred after the date of this Agreement, an extraordinary situation shall have arisen which shall make it improbable that the Project can be carried out or that the Recipient will be able to perform its obligations under this Agreement. (c) Any other event specified in this Agreement for the purposes of this Section shall have occurred. The right of the Recipient to make withdrawals from the Grant Account shall continue to be suspended in whole or in part, as the case may be, until the event or events which gave rise to suspension shall have ceased to exist, unless the Administrator shall have notified the Recipient that the right to make withdrawals has been restored in whole or in part, as the case may be.
