Common use of Suspension or Debarment Clause in Contracts

Suspension or Debarment. Submittal of an offer or execution of a contract shall attest that the sub-grantee or contractor is not currently suspended or debarred. If the Sub-grantee or any of its contractors become suspended or debarred, the Sub-grantee shall immediately notify the State. The State may, by written notice to the Sub- grantee, immediately terminate this Agreement if the State determines that the Sub-grantee or their contractors have been debarred, suspended or otherwise lawfully prohibited from participating in any public procurement activity, including but not limited to, being disapproved as a subcontractor of any public procurement unit or other governmental body.
