System Operation. Transmission At main transmission sites each antenna is constructed in two halves and each half has its own feeder cable. The overarching design criterion is that the antenna can facilitate full power into either half. The outputs from the active transmitters are combined and the power split across the two halves of the antenna. The Client will provide the Services Provider with an appropriate service monitoring and control interfaces (which can be integrated into the Service Providers SCADA system) at the input to the antenna system. An overview of the arrangement for main sites can be seen in Figure 5.1.1.
