T uberculosis Exposure Control Program. All employees working in patient care areas will be provided PPD screenings in accordance with Swedish Medical Center policy. Employees in high risk areas may be screened more frequently. Any employee who is a PPD converter as a result of an occupational exposure will be referred to a Public Health physician or appropriate medical specialist for follow up, including preventive therapy at no cost to the employee.
19.1 AG rievance Defined.
T uberculosis Exposure Control Program. At the time of employment, the Employer shall provide a two (2) step Tuberculin PPD screening test at no cost to the employee. The Employer will continue to provide annual PPD screening to all employees at no cost to the employee. Employees may be screened more frequently on an as needed basis. Upon request of a health care provider, a routine blood examination and urinalysis will be provided at no cost to the employee once each year.
