Common use of Tandem Switching Services Clause in Contracts

Tandem Switching Services. The Parties will provide tandem switching for traffic between the Parties' end offices subtending each other's access tandem, as well as for traffic between either Party's end users and any Third Party which is interconnected to the other Party's access tandems as follows: 3.3.1 The originating Party will compensate the tandem Party for each minute of originated tandem switched traffic which terminates to third party (e.g., other CLEC's, ILEC, or wireless service provider). The applicable rate for this charge is identified in Appendix D. 3.3.2 The originating Party also assumes responsibility for compensation to the company which terminates the call.

Third party traffic is subject to the following conditions: 3.3.1 3.4.1 The originating Party will compensate the tandem Party for each minute of originated tandem switched traffic which terminates to third party (e.g., other CLEC's, ILEC, or wireless service provider).
