Common use of Taxes and Federal Compliance Clause in Contracts

Taxes and Federal Compliance. Contractor, whether a corporation, partnership, or sole proprietorship, must be current in its obligations to pay Bexar County Property Taxes. If commercial personal property is located in the jurisdiction, current renditions of these properties must be filed with the Chief Appraiser, as required by Chapter 22, Section 22.01, of the “TEXAS PROPERTY TAX CODE,” and Contractor must be current on all applicable ad valorem taxes owing to Owner. Contractor certifies it is not presently debarred, suspended for debarment, declared ineligible, or excluded from covered transactions by any Federal department or agency.
