Teachers' Right to Refuse a Transfer. a. Teachers shall be required to accept Board initiated transfers made in accordance with this Article, as a condition of employment, provided that teachers shall always have the right to refuse any transfer which would require a one-way drive of more than thirty (30) miles or forty-eight and three tenths (48.3) kilometres from their normal place of residence within the District to the new school.
