Common use of Teaching Loads Clause in Contracts

Teaching Loads. A. Normally, assignments shall be made within the areas of teacher competence, teaching certificate, and their major or minor fields of study, except temporarily and/or for good cause. B. The term "preparation period" shall be construed to include the use of this period for purposes associated with teaching responsibilities when deemed necessary in the judgment of the principal. C. The teaching assignment shall not exceed twenty-six (26) clock hours of instruction per week.
