Common use of Technical Interfaces Clause in Contracts

Technical Interfaces. 7.2.1 When interconnecting at AT&T ILLINOIS’ switches, the Parties have a preference for use of B8ZS ESF trunks for all traffic between their networks. Where available, each Party shall cooperate to ensure that its trunk groups are configured utilizing the B8ZS ESF protocol. Where AMI trunks are used, either Party may request upgrade to B8ZS ESF when such equipment is available and deployed.
