Common use of Technical Safety Rehearsal Clause in Contracts

Technical Safety Rehearsal. ‌ Where the staging of an Artist involves flying, pyrotechnics, co-ordination with moving scenery, and/or other similarly extraordinary or unusual technical elements, the Artist may be called to rehearse such elements on stage prior to the first full company rehearsal on stage. This call may be in addition to the rehearsal calls stipulated in Clauses 16:07(B)(i) and 16:07(B)(ii) provided that the Artist is not called for more than six (6) hours of rehearsal in total, and that the Artist has a break of at least one and a half (1-1/2) hours between this technical safety rehearsal and the dress rehearsal.
