Common use of Technological Change Definition Clause in Contracts

Technological Change Definition. ‌‌‌ F13.01 In this Article, "technological change" means: a) The introduction by the Employer of equipment or material of a different nature or kind than that previously utilized; and b) A change in the Employer's operation directly related to the introduction of that equipment or material. F13.02 This Article will apply in circumstances where, as a result of technological change, the services of an employee(s) will no longer be required beyond a specified date. F13.03 Sections 52, 54 and 55 of Part I of the Canada Labour Code do not apply during the term of this Agreement.
