Common use of Teleconference Hearings Clause in Contracts

Teleconference Hearings. 7.4.1. Where agreed to by the Parties and considered appropriate by the Arbitrator, and where allowed by provincial or territorial legislation governing arbitration, the Arbitrator may use a teleconference hearing rather than an in-person hearing to hear Your Claim. The Arbitrator and the Parties must be able to hear each other clearly at the same time throughout the teleconference.
