Telephone Enrollment Inquiry. The Contractor shall provide telephone operator personnel (both Member services and provider services) to verify Contractor enrollment during normal business hours. The Contractor’s telephone operator personnel should have the capability to electronically verify Contractor enrollment based on a variety of fields, including Contractor Identification Number, Medicaid/NJ FamilyCare Identification Number, Social Security Number, Enrollee Name, Date of Birth. The Contractor shall ensure that a recorded message is available to providers when enrollment capability is unavailable for any reason.
