Common use of TELEPHONE NUMBER PORTABILITY ARRANGEMENTS Clause in Contracts

TELEPHONE NUMBER PORTABILITY ARRANGEMENTS. A. The Parties agree to provide interim Service Provider Number Portability (SPNP) on a reciprocal basis between their networks to enable their end user customers to utilize telephone numbers associated with an Exchange Service provided by one Party, in conjunction with an Exchange Service provided by the other Party, upon the coordinated or simultaneous termination of the first Exchange Service and activation of the second Exchange Service. The Parties shall provide reciprocal SPNP immediately upon execution of this Agreement via remote call forwarding (RCF) or Direct Inward Dialing (DID). SPNP shall operate as follows:
