Temporary Assignment Bonus. Any per diem or part-time employee who agrees to a full-time or part-time temporary assignment for a limited, pre-determined, pre-scheduled duration of at least eight (8) weeks will receive a lump sum bonus at the conclusion of the temporary assignment. For a temporary assignment of 72 hours/pay period or greater, the lump sum bonus will equal $300 per pay period. For a temporary assignment of less than 72 hours/pay period, the lump sum bonus will be prorated to reflect the additional hours assigned to the employee. To receive the lump sum bonus, the employee must not miss more than three (3) scheduled days during the assignment. Cost center seniority shall determine selection among qualified applicants for temporary assignments. Hours worked by per diem employees during a temporary assignment will still count as per diem hours under the provisions of the Per Diem Article.

When a temporary assignment requires that an employee be scheduled for an additional 72 hours or more per pay period, the lump sum bonus will equal $600 per pay period for employees in the nursing bargaining unit, Respiratory Therapists, and Imaging Technologists, and $350 per pay period for all other technical bargaining unit employees. For a temporary assignment less than 72 hours/pay period, the lump sum bonus will be prorated to reflect the additional hours assigned to the employee. To receive the lump sum bonus, the employee must not miss more than three (3) scheduled days during the assignment. Cost Center Seniority shall determine selection among qualified applicants for temporary assignments. Hours worked by per diem employees during a temporary assignment will still count as per diem hours under any applicable minimum hours commitment for per diem employees.

  • Temporary Assignment All MBUs who are District-initiated transfers or returning from leave of absence of more than one year may be temporarily assigned to positions other than posted vacancies, including substitute teacher positions, until they can be placed in a vacancy for which they are qualified. Such MBUs shall be placed in the first available vacancy for which they are qualified.

  • Temporary Layoff The Employer may temporarily layoff an employee for up to ninety (90) days due to an unanticipated loss of funding, revenue shortfall, lack of work, shortage of material or equipment, or other unexpected or unusual reasons. An employee will normally receive seven (7) days notice of a temporary layoff.

  • Temporary Employee Employees may be hired for a specific term not to exceed six (6) months, to replace an employee who will be on approved leave of absence, absence due to WSIB disability, sick leave, long term disability or to perform a special non-recurring task. This term may be extended a further six (6) months on mutual agreement of the Union, employee and Hospital or by the Hospital on its own up to twelve (12) months where the leave of the person being replaced extends that far.   • Assignment Termination This Agreement may not be assigned or transferred in any manner by any party without the consent of all parties receiving or rendering services hereunder; provided that LPL may assign this Agreement upon consent of Client in accordance with the Advisers Act. In addition, LPL may add or replace the IAR servicing the Account without Client consent. This Agreement may be terminated by any party effective upon receipt of written notice to the other parties (“Termination Date”). LPL will deliver securities and funds held in the Account as instructed by Client unless Client requests that the Account be liquidated. LPL will initiate instructions to deliver funds and/or securities within two weeks of Client’s written request. If the Account is liquidated as a result of a termination notice, LPL will have a period of 72 hours to begin liquidations unless special circumstances apply. Proceeds will be payable to Client upon settlement of all transactions in the Account. Client will be entitled to a prorated refund of any pre-paid quarterly Account Fee based upon the number of days remaining in the quarter after the Termination Date. Client understands and agrees that after the Termination Date, the Account may be converted to a brokerage account at LPL. In a brokerage account, Client is charged a commission for each transaction and the IAR has no responsibility to provide ongoing investment advice. If this Agreement terminates, and the Account converts to a brokerage account, Client hereby authorizes and directs LPL to implement the insured cash account as the sweep option for the brokerage account, as discussed more fully below. If the Account is closed within the first six months by Client or as a result of withdrawals which bring the Account value below the required minimum, LPL reserves the right to retain the pre-paid quarterly Account Fee for the current quarter in order to cover the administrative cost of establishing the Account which may include costs to transfer positions into and out of the Account, data entry costs to open the Account, costs associated with reconciling of positions in order to issue quarterly performance information, and the cost of re-registering positions. In the case of an Account held by an individual, this Agreement shall terminate upon death of Client; provided, however, that LPL’s authority under this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect until such time as LPL has been notified otherwise in writing by the authorized representative of Client or Client’s estate. Termination of the Agreement will not affect the liabilities or obligations of the parties from transactions initiated prior to termination.

  • Assignment and Benefit (a) This Agreement is personal to the Manager and shall not be assignable by the Manager, by operation of law, or otherwise without the prior written consent of the Company otherwise than by will or the laws of descent and distribution. This Agreement shall inure to the benefit of and be enforceable by the Manager’s heirs and legal representatives. (b) This Agreement shall inure to the benefit of and be binding upon the Company and its successors and assigns, including, without limitation, any subsidiary of the Company to which the Company may assign any of its rights hereunder; provided, however, that no assignment of this Agreement by the Company, by operation of law, or otherwise shall relieve it of its obligations hereunder except an assignment of this Agreement to, and its assumption by, a successor pursuant to subsection (c). As used in this Agreement, “Company” shall mean the Company as hereinbefore defined and any successor to its business and/or assets as aforesaid.

  • Assignment Fee Unless the assignment shall be to an affiliate of the assignor or the assignment shall be due to merger of the assignor or for regulatory purposes, either the assignor or the assignee shall remit to Agent, for its own account, an administrative fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500).
